Overview
You may be familiar with the concept of a website shopping basket. The idea is that you can select products that you want as you come across them anywhere on the website and simply add them to your shopping basket/trolley for later purchase. When you are finished adding items to your shopping basket, you order the products in your basket by paying for the total amount.
Using the enquiry list is similar to a shopping basket but with one important difference. It is similar because, like a shopping basket, you can add products in which you are interested, change the quantity of each product on your list and remove products. However, the enquiry list is different because there is no ordering or purchasing involved. Once you have finished adding items to your enquiry list, you submit your enquiry list to us to receive more information on the products that you have included in your list.
Our corporate sales representative then contacts you and uses the list to assist you with specific questions and to confirm your requirements based on the items included in your list. At that time, you may place an order with our sales representative, but you are under no obligation whatsoever to do so.
There is no need to write down product codes or other details to request more information on particular products. You can simply add them to your enquiry list.
There is no need to waste your time checking whether you have already noted a product in which you are interested. You can easily view your list to see which items have been added to it. Secondly, whenever you view the details of a product, it will display the message "Your Enquiry List Contains This Item" if you have already added it to your list.
The enquiry list is much easier to manage than a paper list. Unlike a paper list, changes to the list do not make it untidy and hard to read. You can remove an item from your list with one click and if you change the quantity of an item on your list it is automatically updated.
The enquiry list enables you to see all of the selected products together, as it includes images.
You can see how the price of the products that you are considering fit in with your budget. The enquiry list automatically totals and displays the cost of all the items you add to it.
You can quickly view the details of any products on your enquiry list without having to search for them again.
There is no need to type out information from a paper list. One click of a button sends the already compiled enquiry list to us.
Our corporate sales representative can assist you most effectively by knowing, before contacting you, on which specific products you want more information.
In a nutshell, the enquiry list gives you a convenient way of getting the information that you need without any obligation to order.
Once you have added items to your enquiry list, you can view it from the top menu on any page or from the detailed information page of a product already added to your list.
To view your list from any page, click on the "Your Enquiry List" button at the top of every page which looks like this:
You can also view your list from the detailed information page of any product already added to your list by clicking on the "Click to View/Edit" button at the top of the page which looks like this:
When you view your enquiry list once you have added items to it, you will see something like this (the red arrow << has been added in to point to the important part of the enquiry list for this topic):
The quantity block is used to indicate how many items of each product you would require if you decide to place an order.
As the enquiry list is not an order form, the quantity does not need to be exact but it helps us to provide you with accurate quotes (e.g. we may give a discount for high quantities of a product), lead-times and delivery information.
To change the quantity, type a different number in the block under the heading "Quantity (Edit Below)" (e.g. replace "20" with "50").
Once you have changed the quantity and click anywhere outside of the "Quantity (Edit Below)" block (e.g. in another block), the quantity will be automatically updated and saved.
A message stating "Your list has been successfully updated!" will be displayed at the top of the page to confirm that the change has been made.

To remove a product entirely from your enquiry list, simply click once on the checkbox under the "Remove Product?" heading which is next to the product that you want to remove.
If you want to keep the product on your list but want to remove some items (i.e. decrease its quantity), then type in a different number in the "Quantity"" block for that product. Click Here for more information on changing the quantity of a product.
